El Roi translated is the Hebrew name for, "The God Who Sees Me", it is first used in Genesis 16 by a maidservant named Hagar. The family she belonged to mistreated and rejected her, she thought her only option was to run into the wilderness. Gods amazing love found Hagar in the desert, He saw her brokenness and heard her cry. It was there that He spoke to Hagar and her response was, "You are the God who sees me". In your darkest time God see's you, you are not overlooked, you are loved, wanted, being sought by the Everlasting God who sees all things. Even in your desert season He is there, waiting for you to call out to Him. He sees you in the suffering and pain, He sees you in confusion and desperation, He is your answer.

Lord, in my times of trouble, I turn my eyes to You, the God who sees me loves me and knows me. Thank you for rescuing me in my times of confusion, I know You have never left me and You don't forget me, even when I feel vulnerable and invisible, I put all of my hope in You. I surrender my life to Your perfect plan, You know the number of hairs on my head, You have knit me together in my mothers womb, I am Your workmanship. Help me to remember this in my most dire situations. Thank You for loving me.
